Planning and Development Department
Introduction
Department of P & D is a recent addition to University of Health Sciences. The department has been created with an objective to sail through the growth phase of University of Health Sciences in a coordinated and structured manner. Once the growth phase is over, the department will steer the university into expansion phase. A road map approved by Higher Education Commission for this growth and expansion phase has been developed

This assignment is most significant for our recent new born university. New projects are conceived and developed in consultation with academia of university to improve research and teaching facilities.

Research and Development
Research is the soul and spirit of quality academic institutions. The department coordinates and assists the academic colleagues in developing Research projects. The department looks after the managerial and technical aspects i.e. project writing, release of funds and report writing.
Foreign Faculty Hiring Program (FFHP)
Higher Education Commission in its endeavors to promote quality education has started a scheme to encourage highly qualified expatriate Pakistanis to return and serve Pakistani Universities. The department is the focal point for this initiative of HEC.

Litigation
The department is looking after the litigation proceedings of University of health Sciences. The assignment is;
