Undergraduate Programs (BS)

BS Medical Laboratory Sciences

Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters) This program trains students to become proficient laboratory professionals skilled in diagnostic, analytical, and investigative procedures. The curriculum covers hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, histopathology, and molecular diagnostics, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and ethics.

BS Speech and Language Pathology

Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters) This program addresses the critical need for experts in communication and swallowing disorders. Students gain the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and rehabilitate individuals across the lifespan, preparing them for careers in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and private practice.

BS Biomedical Sciences

Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters) This program provides a strong foundation in biological and medical sciences, preparing graduates for roles in biomedical research, innovation, and interdisciplinary healthcare. Students learn to apply scientific principles to address national and global health challenges.

BS Transfusion Medicine

Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters) This program prepares professionals in transfusion medicine and blood banking, equipping students with strong biomedical foundations and advanced training in modern transfusion practices. It emphasizes safe, efficient, and ethical transfusion services according to international standards. Graduates will be able to pursue careers in blood banks, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and research institutes, strengthening transfusion services at both national and international levels.

BS Human Genetics and Molecular Biology

Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters) This program meets the growing demand for experts in genetics and molecular technology. Students receive rigorous training in molecular diagnostics, genetic counseling, and research methodologies, opening doors to careers in diagnostics, research institutes, biotechnology, and public health.

Postgraduate Program (MPhil)

MPhil Medical Laboratory Sciences

Duration: 2 Years Designed for graduates seeking advanced specialization, this program offers in-depth training in different specialties of the Medical Laboratory Sciences. It emphasizes research competence, with a required thesis project, preparing graduates for leadership roles in laboratories, research, and academia.

Our genetics and molecular biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Serology, Hematology, Chemical pathology labs are equipped for techniques including PCR, DNA sequencing, gel electrophoresis, and Cell/ tissue culture.

Speech & Language Pathology Lab:

A dedicated clinical training space equipped with standardized assessment tools, diagnostic equipment, AAC devices, and therapeutic models for simulation-based learning.

Library & Computing Resources:

Students have access to an extensive collection of books, journals, and online databases, along with dedicated computer labs for bioinformatics and research.
